2020 has certainly presented its challenges, but we're not going to let it put a damper on the holidays.
We've collected a bunch of fun, safe, and budget-friendly activities to really put you in a festive frame of mind.
Canvas & Wine Painting Classes
We love a good Canvas & Wine activity with friends, but in these current times, we're going the virtual route by following along with some You Tube tutorials while Zooming with our girlfriends.
See spectacular Christmas lights without ever stepping foot out your car. Just be sure to get there early because wait times can be as long as 4 hours!
It just wouldn't be Christmas without a performance of The Nutcracker, so we're incredibly thankful for this virtual event by Charlotte Symphony.
Delish Christmas Cookie Countdown
We're huge fans of Delish, and they really knocked it out of the park with these holiday cookie recipes. We'll be baking (and eating) up a storm!
Come to Truist Field for shopping, food, photo ops, Santa (who will be wearing a protective face shield), and a beautiful walk-through lights display.
As we wrote in our recent Blacklion feature, a socially distanced Santa is at Blacklion just waiting to pose for a photo with your child. What a great way to commemorate this crazy year. Take a walk around the store for some holiday shopping while you're there!
If you need to grab a few last minute gifts, head on over for a day of shopping at the outdoor Charlotte Premium Outlets. Bonus points if you stop in and grab a delicious acai berry smoothie to boost your energy during a shopping lull!
Take a wagon ride to the petting barn to see the animals and mail a letter to the North Pole. You can also enjoy the coffee, hot chocolate, and S'mores by the fire pit. Read more about the farm here.
