Many restaurants will claim to have authentic NY-style pizza, but we're often left feeling unimpressed.
Thankfully, we found several restaurants in Charlotte that truly are the real deal.

Try any of these 5 recommendations, and you will not be disappointed!
Pop on into their Steele Creek location for a slice, calzone, sub sandwich, or one of their hot Italian specialities.
Brooklyn Pizza Parlor has locations in both South Charlotte and Wesley Chapel. They have a large menu that includes some really good cannoli.
Tony's Pizza has been a Ballantyne staple for years- and for good reason. Their pizza tastes just like home (if your home happens to be New York), and they even have a large kid's menu as well as gluten and vegan options.
Lorenzo's is a favorite among every New York transplant that I know. It is truly a little piece of the Big Apple in the Queen City. (I was once told that the secret to their authentic tasting pizza is in the water.) Like Tony's, there is a kid's menu and a menu for those who are gluten free.
This is a family-friendly restaurant with multiple locations in Charlotte, as well as locations in Harrisburg, Huntersville, and Mint Hill. The extensive menu, with items like pizza, wings, salads, kid's meals, gluten free options, pasta, heroes, and calzones, is sure to please everyone.
