Our Dragonfly Homes team is committed to ensuring our buyers and sellers are safe during these difficult times.
We've taken great strides to ensure the safety of our clients whether we are working with buyers, sellers or both. We also monitor the local and national news to receive the most up-to-date information, so we can adjust accordingly.
Keep reading for our best tips on staying safe while buying and/or selling a home.
Provide Gloves, Shoe Booties, Masks
When you walk into a listing for Dragonfly Homes, you'll find a personal protective equipment (PPE) station with disposable gloves, shoe booties and masks. We ask that buyers and their agent wear these before touching any surfaces and touring the property.
Provide Hand Sanitizer
We provide an FDA-approved hand sanitizer pump at the entry. The CDC recommends you use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. (See a list of hand sanitizers which have not been approved by the FDA here.)
Practice Social Distancing
We always maintain six feet of distance from our buyers. We also ask buyer agents to limit the number of buyers they allow in the house at one time with a limit of no more than 2 adults present at a time.
Do Not Schedule Overlapping Appointments
In this hot market, overlapping appointments are common, but we set up our showing instructions to allow buyers an opportunity to schedule no more than 30 minute appointments, one at a time.
This ensures that buyers are not mingling too closely together and that proper precautions can be taken.
It usually takes around 20 minutes to tour a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home and determine if it is the right home. That leaves 10 minutes to ensure that buyers are using proper PPE and their agent has the time available to share important updates and features of the property.
Happy House Hunting & please stay safe!
